This sheet will provide an overview about SWAPI, what it does, where it can be found, what's required to install it along with our handy installation checklist.

In order for SWRemote to access your data, you need to set up a gateway to your SW21 information. This is done by installing the Successware API (SWAPI).

SWAPI is an addition to your current SW21 installation that will get installed on the same server you currently have SW21 installed. If you're currently running on the SW21 ASP platform, you will not need to install this gateway as it's installed for you already. You will simply need to set up your agent access which is covered in the "Successware21 Agent Manager" setup.
