Requisition in Inventory Manager

As mentioned previously, your technician will post inventory used from their trucks when completing a job. This provides not only detail line items on your invoice, but also creates an inventory requisition for the truck.

If you go to the Inventory manager you will see these requisitions as they come across. This will provide you with the information you need in order to determine what parts were used on the job.

Requisition in Inventory Manager

As stated previous, this will create a requisition in the Inventory Manager section of SW21. This requisition is handled the same as any of your other requisitions in the system. You can view the requisition, modify it if necessary and post the changes to your inventory system. Posting the requisition will adjust your inventory totals in the system so you can order more parts, restock, etc.

Creating a Restock Transfer for a Truck

One of the important aspects of this feature is to allow you to automatically restock a truck depending on what parts they used on a job. When the tech is in the field, they're constantly creating requisitions for new parts for their trucks. Back in the office, you could have somebody viewing and posting these restock requests. This way when the technician comes back to the shop he already can have a pallet of parts ready to be put into his truck.
