SWRemote is designed for Pocket PC Phones running the Windows Mobile operating system.  While there are several Pocket PC Phones on the market that support the Windows Mobile platform, the Pocket PC technology is still not completely standardized.  While SWRemote may run on any of these devices, only the following Pocket PC Phones have been tested and are currently supported:

• Verizon XV6700
• Sprint PPC6700 or PPC6800

SWRemote requires internet connectivity and therefore service activation with an Unlimited Data Plan is required.

For printing, credit card swiping, and barcode scanning, SWRemote has been designed for use with the PP55 mobile printer.  The PP55 is a mobile printer unit that attaches to the PDA.  Different configurations of the PP55 are available including credit card swipe and barcode scanner.

GPS capabilities! The blue tooth GPS unit can plug into a trucks cigarette lighter for constant power.  There is no need to charge this device.  The GPS unit communicates with the PDA within a range of 30 to 50 feet.  This communication is then forwarded from the PDA to the SWRemote Server and then to your installation of SuccessWare21.  SuccessWare21 interfaces to MapPoint to show current location and route history for your vehicles.
