There are two reasons why the device would get this error when trying to obtain turn by turn directions. First of all, you need to make sure you have a version of Map Point 2002 or greater installed on your server where you have SuccessWare21 running. Be sure this is actually installed on the actual server, and not the individual work stations. You will need Map point installed on the individual work stations in order for you to view the maps in SuccessWare21, but in order for the SWremote devices to access turn by turn directions, the program must be installed on the server where SuccessWare21 lies.

If you have Map Point 2002, or greater, installed on your server and are still receiving this error when the SWremote device tries to get turn by turn directions, there could be an issue of licensing. When logging in to your server, make sure you log in as an administrator. System users will not allow access to Map Point. When logged in as an administrator, run Map Point and accept the agreement license. Once this is accepted, the devices in the field should be able to get turn by turn directions.
