Device Deactivation Vs. Billing Hold
DEVICE DEACTIVATION: Upon the customer's request, SWRemote will permanently deactivate/remove the device from the customer's account for no additional charge. The customer will forfeit any remaining prepaid service associated with that device and loose their original activation fee. We advise that our customers wait to deactivate the device until it is no longer in use or just before the next billing cycle (whichever comes first). DEVICE BILLING HOLD: Upon the customer's request, SWRemote will temporarily place the customers device on 'Billing Hold' for a $60 fee. Both the service and the billing associated with the selected device will be halted until the customer decides to re-enable that device without loosing their original activation fee. We advise that our customers wait to place the device on billing hold until it is no longer in use or just before the next billing cycle (whichever comes first). NOTE: Please remember that the monthly device fee is $55, so you only want to place a device on billing hold if it's expected to be in that state for more than one month.
